Apnea VR

The year is 1968, and the American submarine USS Scorpion – carrying a prototype of the MK48 nuclear torpedo – has mysteriously gone missing. You, a Soviet deep diver, have been appointed only one mission: retrieve it before the Americans do!

Unique breathing and walking systems

To move around, simply walk in place. Walk harder to move quickly, or walk slowly to tip-toe more carefully. Using a set of ear or headphones with an attached microphone, your breath is also monitored in real-time as you dive!

Apnea VR

Sharks are alerted by movement and breath, so you’ll have to time yourself with them in order to sneak past unscathed.

Stealth and patience is the key

As you move along the ocean floor, you’ll come across sharks that are thirsty for blood. Weaponless, your only chance for survival is moving past them unnoticed! You’ll have to do this by timing your movements and breathing carefully, as well as making use of hiding spots.

Apnea VR

Hiding spots can come in the form of sunken ships and more.

An ocean of discovery

As you explore, you’ll find things like sunken ships and submerged bones as well as clumps of seaweed and rocks that can be used to hide behind. The trick is to move slowly and be patient in order to avert the predators!

Apnea VR

Items can be interacted with by looking at them and tapping your headsets trigger button.

The deeper you go, the more challenging it gets. Soon enough, you’ll be finding yourself in the middle of a deep water maze, and more. Think you can complete it and grab the torpedo before it’s too late? Do your best… but don’t hold your breath!
